Colour Blue

from Brave Face by little horse

/

about

'Colour Blue' is dedicated to the enduring joy and love Cameron gave to his parents, unwavering forever in their hearts. Although his time with us was brief, the effect his life had on family and friends was profound. For me, not appreciating the full extent of his suffering, I remember only his beautiful 'blue' eyes.

His Auntie Libby remembers:
"Baby Cameron was an angel living on Earth and is now an angel in Heaven. Everyone that came to know Cameron, cherished him. He will never be forgotten and will always be loved." Born with a rare genetic disorder called "Epidermilosa Bullosa" he endured enormous pain - every second, every day. He was the strongest person I have ever known. I feel joy when I think of Cameron's beautiful "blue" eyes, so large and deep - a window into his soul. Telling him how "beautiful" he was and how strong and "brave". I never got to hold baby Cameron, because touching him caused too much pain. He was physically wrapped in bandages but we emotionally wrapped him with our love. I feel joy knowing that he will never be in pain again and that he is free to fly where-ever his heart takes him."

lyrics

When i close my eyes
I see you looking back at me
Sweet child of mine
You are a dream
Fall into you
Colour Blue

I'm still falling
Into you
Colour Blue

When I call your name
i feel you reaching out to me
Brave child of mine
You were a dream
Fall into you
Colour Blue

I'm still falling
Into you
Colour Blue
